![]() ![]() ![]() I don't understand why ANYONE would prefer splitscreen to LAN gaming, but I'm not gonna fight you over it. Simply because, playing LAN, we both have an entire screen to work with, and we avoid having to fight over the same keyboard. I have a significant other I game with, and we GREATLY prefer playing games on LAN on two machines (Saints Row, for example), to having to play them splitscreen (as we do with the Lego games). I, for one, would also prefer LAN Co-Op to Splitscreen (although any Co-Op is better than no Co-Op). Did you expect only to meet people on this FORUM who agreed with you? Oh, and let's avoid assumptions in the future, hmm?ĭude, this is an insane reaction to have just because someone wants a DIFFERENT sort of multiplayer than you do. So instead of complaining that I want a different means of local play, why don't you just nod and say 'this guy wants multiplayer, too'. with our current setup, LAN would work for us a lot better than splitscreen (in that splitscreen wouldn't work. Even better, there's no internet required, so it can be done offline! I'm not asking for online, as that would not be feasible at this point.Īnyways, while I do not have any children, I do have a significant other whom I live with, and other friends, one of which I live with, that have expressed interest in playing this game. What that means is that multiple friends could get together in the same room (Or separate rooms in the same house) and game together with their own screen, with nothing but a black box or Ethernet cable between them tethering them together. Multiple machines connected together through the same signal/router. Besides lol Im the one groveling to the corporate overlords at disney. Are you serious? Why? What do you have no one that comes over and plays games with you? Do you have a significant other or a 2 year old son youd like to play games with. So while splitscreen would be nice, I'd prefer Local Area Network. Originally posted by No'ark Doso:I understand you viewpoint, now listen to mine. I understand you viewpoint, now listen to mine. Please Disney, I beg you from my knees, I grovel before your might, please bestow us with this gift. Obviously we dont need hub support, that wouldnt make any sense anyways seeing as we would need a pc specific hub and the company is dead, but to screen support is possible. This game on literally all other platforms (excluding possibly apple tv and tablets) has it and is really is a huge selling point when your buddies can plop on the couch and play infinity with you. Originally posted by LostSilver:I love your inthusiasm. if everyone is interested in playing the game, it's likely that they would prefer to level up their own characters, versus someone else's. In addition, one of the nice things about Disney Infinity is the ability to level up YOUR figures. Not everyone's computer is connected to a large screen, or even have the capability to do it.
